How has another month already flown by? It seems like just yesterday I was writing my 1-Month Blogiversary and Weekly Round-Up! post, and now Diary of a Southern Millennial is another month older!
First, let’s compare stats.
- 2,151 page views
- 12 posts
- Top 5 posts:
- 4,500 page views (as of last night)
- 14 new posts (including this one)
- Top 5 Posts:
I more than doubled my page views for the month, which is crazy exciting! I’ve gotten more followers on all of my social media accounts, and I even started growing my email list! I honestly couldn’t be happier to see how my blog has grown in these two short months! Thank you all so very much for your support!
Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck. I think I’m having my quarter-life crisis! I’m at that point where I want to make big life changes, but I don’t have the means to do so. I want buy a home with my fiancé, I want to be financially stable, I want to travel…the list of wants go on and on. I’m turning my frustration about my situation into a motivation to get moving. Here’s what I have planned for this month:
- Finish real estate coursework (actually finish it!)
- Schedule real estate exam
- Join more affiliate programs
- Start my new Adulting series
- Stay on top of posts!
- Work on calendar/checklist printables to send to subscribers
If you read my Mastering Your Side Hustle post, then you might have noticed I work on my real estate course multiple days a week. Or should have been anyway! I’ll admit, I’ve been pretty busy lately and honestly haven’t felt up to working on it in the evenings. But that is going to change this month! I hope to have all of my coursework completed and my exam scheduled so I can finally become a real estate agent!
I’ve been doing a ton of research on affiliate programs for bloggers, and am planning to expand my affiliate portfolio so-to-speak to bring in more of an income. I was recently notified that my student loan payments were going to start soon, and I started this blog to help with those payments! Now that I’ve gotten the hang of things, I can focus more on bringing in an income.
Currently, I’m just an Amazon Associate, which works for me because I don’t want to spam everyone just to make a buck. With Amazon, I have full control over what I talk about, so I can just mention and suggest things that I love and already use every day! Now I just need to find other affiliate programs that allow me to do the same thing. So if you have suggestions, send them my way!
For April, I’m planning on doing a few meal planning posts, as well as a few craft-related ones and flip house updates. I also want to start an Adulting series where I go over how to do basic household tasks and adulty things! I’m also planning to start sending out a monthly calendar printable and checklists to my subscribers. If any of this sounds interesting, make sure to subscribe below so you don’t miss any new content!
And speaking of that calendar printable….if you’re already one of my subscribers, you received your printable before this post was even published! If you’re interested in snagging you own copy (pictured below), and getting all my future printables before anyone else for that matter, make sure you subscribe!
And that wraps it up. Thank you all again for continuing to visit Diary of a Southern Millennial! I hope you all are as excited as I am for everything I have planned for April!
