Another month, another Currently Loving post! This month has been pretty crazy for me, but here’s what I’ve been loving:
Taking Some Time For Myself
If you’re a regular reader, then you probably noticed I took a few days off of blogging. Not only have I been busy at work lately, but I’ve been having a bit of an existential/quarter-life crisis to deal with. Thankfully I (think) I’ve moved past it, finally finished my real estate course, and managed to get caught up with work. Which means I’ll be able to get back on track with blog posts and study for my real estate exam!

Again, if you’re a regular reader, then you know I’m preeeeety organized. Like crazy organized. About everything. A big reason for this is that mess straight-up gives me anxiety and I use organizing to give me a sense of having my life together. Other people’s mess is generally fine, but if my desk is a mess you can bet I’m feeling stressed and anxious as heck. My friend actually sent me this earlier this week, which is soooo accurate:
After being so busy lately, I’ve kind of let things slip a bit, so it was nice finally being able to clear out some stuff. When I say I had not folded my laundry in over a month (it was all sitting in a laundry basket in my closet), I’m seriously not kidding! I could hardly get in or out of my closet because clothes (mostly towels tbh) were all over the place. But now everything is folded and in it’s proper place!
I even managed to get my planner set up for the next few weeks, clear out some old papers from my desk, and reorganize my nightstand next to my bed. One upside to getting my planner all set up is that I have a post about it coming soon!

Holy cow, just typing it is crazy! Ethan and I have been dating now for almost 9 years and engaged for just over 2. So after I got back from grad school last year, we decided to hurry and book a venue and set our date. Because we had a specific date in mind, we wanted to find a place early to make sure our date would be available. Thankfully we found the perfect one!

And now that we’re almost a year away from the date, we actually have to start planning. We’ve had plenty of time to think about what we want, so now we just have to actually book everything (other than the venue of course). So I officially booked my first dress appointment and started looking for a photographer, and I know the rest is going to come fast, but I’m so excited!
My birthday is just a month away, and I am so excited! My sister and I have tickets to see Jon Bellion again in concert the week of my birthday, and I really hope it turns out to be better than the last one. In all fairness, he wasn’t the main act in the last one. So I’m hoping since he is the main act for this one, the sound equipment setting will be much better. Plus it’ll be nice to have a little weekend away with my sister which is always fun!
Bloggers are some of the most amazing people ever. The feedback from both my 6 Months of Blogging and Embracing My Quarter-Life Crisis posts has been amazing, especially from my fellow bloggers. It seriously makes my day when I get an email or open up Twitter/Instagram/Facebook and see someone has sent some love my way, thanked me for writing about what I did in the way I did, or just dropped in to say they can relate. It makes me so unbelievably happy and makes me wish I could meet them all IRL.
Last week I got a random huge order for my Etsy shop, which was amazing! The customer was in a bit of a pickle, so I was really glad I could help her out and make something beautiful for her. I made these beautiful purple druzy pendant necklaces for her, and she was trying to get earrings as well. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the materials needed for her earrings, so I directed her to another Etsy shop that had them. And while that meant I didn’t get the sale for them, I was still so happy I could help her out.
Since I’ve been back from school I’ve neglected my Etsy shop a bit, so I’m excited to start sprucing it up a bit over the next month or so. I never realized how bad my pictures were until recently, so I definitely need to re-do them, and hopefully I can add some new listings soon too! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll definitely be seeing more of my jewelry pieces soon!
