Hello again everyone! I’m a little under the weather today, but unfortunately life doesn’t stop just because we have a cold. Here’s how you can still be productive (or just not be bored) when you’re sick!
Like I said, I’m not feeling well today (hence the late publishing!), but that doesn’t mean I can just sleep in bed all day. I still have a blog post, admin work, and real estate coursework to do! And instead of pushing it all off to tomorrow, I’m trying to get as much as I can done today. If you saw my weekly planner page I was working on last week, then you know I’m packed this week and probably shouldn’t blow off a whole day’s work! So here’s what I’ll be doing (and what I have been doing) today:
Real Estate Coursework
I’m working on printing out all my notes for the week (the course and lessons are all online), and since I hate reading my computer screen, printing them is easier for me to deal with. Unfortunately the formatting is perfect so I have to make some minor tweaks, and that time adds up. Might as well do a week’s worth while I’m stuck in bed!
I really don’t watch TV very often, so now is the prefect time to catch up on my favorite shows! I’m on the last episode of the season 8 (the final season!) of Vampire Diaries, and will probably start on this season of How To Get Away With Murder later today!
Normally I try to keep my all of my admin work for Tuesdays and Thursdays, but if you read my last post (Friday Favorites), I mentioned we are finally closing on the first flip house project tomorrow! Since that’s happening early in the morning, I’ll likely be wiped later that afternoon and won’t get as much done as normal, so I’m trying to get some of it done today to make up for it.
That’s what I’ll be doing today, but if you’re bored out of your mind, here are some more ideas of what you can do when you’re sick!
- Read a book
- Get some rest – take a nap!
- Take a bath – they can do wonders!
- Watch a movie
- Binge-watch some TV
- Work on new blog posts (like I am!)
- Work on your planner
- Try and get some work done from home (fielding emails kind of thing!)
- Self-care, obviously!
What is important is that you take care of yourself and get better! While I can’t stand to sit still, you might be the opposite. Either way – do what you need to do for yourself!
